Amazing jungle Lodge located right on a beautiful beach
I recently stayed at Palmar Beach Lodge and it was an incredible experience. The Jungle Safari Tent I stayed in was private, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. The nightly chorus of frogs and morning bird songs made falling asleep and waking up a true delight. The beachfront restaurant/bar served delicious food, and I highly recommend trying their "spicy margarita." The yoga instructor was fantastic and added to the overall relaxation and tranquility of the lodge.
Although there was a minor hiccup with the lack of signage at the boat dock, once I boarded the boat, everything was smooth sailing. The lodge is located right on Red Frog Beach, one of the best beaches in Panama, offering peace and quiet in a beautiful setting.

The location of this beach lodge is unbeatable - right on the beach with stunning views. the bungalow we stayed in was cozy and comfortable, with the added bonus of air conditioning. We loved being at the end of the path, away from the crowds, and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Plus, being able to cast YouTube and Netflix to the TV was a great feature that added to our relaxation.
the service at the bar/restaurant was slow and some staff members were unfriendly, which took away from the overall experience.

A Little Slice of Paradise
We had an incredible time at Palmar, where happy people and nature are in perfect harmony. The breathtaking location directly on the beach made it so convenient to take a few steps from our cabin and dive into the crystal-clear water or simply relax under the shade of the palm trees. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by the eco-friendly shampoo provided in our adorable Casita tent. The staff made our stay even more memorable, with their warm and attentive service. The yoga sessions, led by experienced and kind teachers, were truly heavenly. It was hard for us to say goodbye to this little piece of paradise.
Despite a few drawbacks, such as the presence of bugs in the jungle setting and the inconvenient timing of the free hotel shuttle boat, our overall experience at Palmar was nothing short of amazing. From the beautiful beach to the sociable atmosphere with daily activities, this hidden gem exceeded our expectations.

The secluded bungalow offered a breath of fresh air, with staff, facilities, food, and surrounds that just couldn't be beaten. With a short 10-minute walk through the jungle, the location provided a serene escape. The dorm rooms were clean and quaint, with charming flywire windows allowing for close encounters with nature. The beach, with its light sand, plentiful lounges, and warm refreshing water, was the ultimate winner.
The kitchen closed early at 8:30 pm, and the restaurant had limited operating hours, which could be inconvenient for those looking for a quick bite to eat.

Spent a fantastic Christmas at this beachfront lodge. Loved being right beside the beach and soaking up the sun. The atmosphere was amazing, with friendly staff and a great vibe. The location was perfect for a beach getaway and the lodge had loads of activities to keep us entertained. The food was delicious, and we loved having happy hour cocktails in the restaurant. had a great time and would definitely recommend for a relaxing beach vacation.
Although the lodge had a lot to offer, there were a few downsides. The pricing for food and drinks was a bit higher compared to other places in the area.

Beautiful location on a secluded beach and good food.
The staff had the absolute worst attitude I have ever experienced. They were rude and arrogant.

Amazing location right on the beach with sun chairs for guests and a bar-restaurant that serves great food and drinks. The menu has plenty of fish options and also caters to vegans and vegetarians. The cocktails are delicious and the perfect accompaniment to a day by the beach.
The room lacked a chair and small table inside, which would have been convenient. Additionally, the service at the restaurant was slightly slow, and it was difficult to get hot water for tea.

We stayed at a charming bell tent at Palmar Beach Lodge. the shared shower and toilet facilities were perfectly fine. Throughout the day, the restaurant served fantastic food, and they even had a happy hour for cocktails. the location of the tents and lodges was amazing, right on Red Frog Beach. the beach itself had comfortable long chairs and palapa for shade. We also enjoyed the variety of healthy food options at the restaurant. We loved everything about our stay, from the yoga classes to the sand paths, and especially relaxing in the hammocks on our front porch. the staff and owners were friendly and great to hang out with. They organized daytime and evening activities, but we also enjoyed simply chilling in hammocks by the beach. the big showers were a personal highlight, with plenty of space for our belongings and hot water. Plus, there was even a plant in the shower that added to the overall ambiance. Cons: Nothing to be said.

The value for money at Palmar Beach Lodge was incredible, especially considering it was a hotel and not a hostel. The dorm room was spacious and beautifully located in the jungle just steps away from the postcard-perfect beach. The staff, especially Cecilio and Luis, were friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks at the restaurant/bar were delicious. The daily yoga classes were a great way to start the day in such a peaceful and relaxing environment.
The morning meal could have been better with more options or variety.
